Norfolk, VA: Harborfest returned with quiet triumph the weekend of June 10–12 to Norfolk’s Town Point Park. A gathering of more than a half-dozen tall ships were on display. Local favorites such as the American Rover, Godspeed and Schooner Virginia kept company with visiting ships Kalmar Nyckel  from Wilmington, DE, and Sultana from Chestertown, MD. All vessels were open for onboard tours throughout the weekend. In addition, there were several displays throughout Harbor Park for nautically-themed and landlubber persuasions.

Harborfest is America’s largest, longest-running, free maritime festival, which originated 46 years ago.
