The East Coast Surfing Championship is known as the oldest continuously-run surfing contest in the world—this is the 61st year. Known locally as the Coastal Edge ECSC, hundreds of surfers compete in various age and skill levels for prizes and surfing titles.  And while surfing is at the core of the event, this week-long festival has become a celebration of beach culture with art, live music, action sports, a boardwalk 5K run, food, drinks and so much more.
