Virginia Beach’s Artery District is bringing fresh energy to the Laskin Road Corridor, blending dining, shopping, and entertainment with a strong sense of community. As this exciting new area takes shape, The Artery District is launching Strawberry Fest at the Beach 2025—a vibrant, family-friendly event celebrating the region’s agricultural roots and coastal culture.
Taking place on Saturday, May 17th 10-5, the festival will transform Laskin Road into a pedestrian-friendly space filled with local vendors, live music, kids’ activities, and, of course, plenty of fresh strawberry treats. This first-year event is a grassroots effort to create new traditions while honoring the legacy of the beloved Pungo Strawberry Festival.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit EquiKids Therapeutic Riding Program, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides equine-assisted therapy to children and veterans with disabilities. By supporting Strawberry Fest at the Beach, attendees and vendors are also helping to fund meaningful programs that empower individuals through horseback riding.
